Right to Know Day around the world - Mexico

The Right to Know Day in Mexico will be celebrated with activities of many organizations working on the issues, which are gathered by the Hewlett Foundation new blog http://www.derechoasaber.org.mx/. This blog demonstrates the seriousness and commitment of the Foundation to enlarge the recognition of the right to know in Mexico, and has been a great allied in the celebration of our Day!

Asociacio'n Civil Libertad de Informacio'n-Me'xico AC (LIMAC)is presenting two very large studies. The first, it is a national survey on the knowledge of the Mexican FOI law amongst regular citizens and academics (the group using more the law so far).

The second piece is a new book of our President, Ernesto Villanueva, of an extensive legal analysis of 68 countries with FOI provisions and laws comparing basic elements and standards of openness.
