During 24-30 September 2007 "Acces-info" Centre (Moldova) in cooperation with other NGOs, public institutions, libraries, media staffs organize the Right to Know Week.

The Program also include the traditional annual Conference "Access to information: legislation, reality, perspectives", in its frame 6 awards of "Bronze Bell" will be delivered for consistency and courage in promotion of access to information to:
- one state institution;
- one journalist;
- one jurist;
- one librarian;
- one NGO;
- one foreigner.

Also, we will organize different trainings, seminars, roundtables, book exhibitions, right to know lessons in education institutions, visits of public officials to different localities.

On the eve of the Week, we will organize the Conference "Access to information and justice: reference points for observance of right to know".

In all zones of the Republic (34) we already organize trainings for new elected persons in villages and cities. Also, "Acces-info" Centre, with support of Soros-Moldova Foundation and Swedish Helsinki Committee for Human Rights organized 6 trainings for judges, lawyers and prosecutors.

At the same time, we notice that recently the Law on protection of personal data and the Law on grant of free juridical consultations by state were passed; finally, for the first time, the List of with information classified as state secret was published;

The Supreme Curt of Justice Plenum passed the Decision on examination of ltigations in the field of access to information, that constitutes a valuable guide for judges and lawyers, and any person interested in access to information.
