Description: National Forum for Human Rights is a coalition of 41 local civil society groups that work human rights issues in Sierra Leone. To in marking the Internsational Day of the Rights to Know, National Forum for Human Rights will in issueing a press statement urging its members to mark the day in one way or the other on one hand and also urge government to work towards the passing of FOI law in Sierra leone. In addition we will conducting Television and radio discussion on the need for FOI law and the importance of access to information and the right to know in democratic devlopment. We will collaborate with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) an! d civil society groups including the membership of National Forum.
