Description: The Consejo de la Prensa Peruana will launch it's second "Access to Information" campaign in conmemoration of the "Right t Know Day". Its members, mainly print media publications, will publish the first of a series of advertisements promoting the right to information and its Access to Information free telephone line through which citizens denounce violations of the Transparency and Access to Information Law.

This campaign will run weekly until at least the end of 2004.

In addition, that day, The Consejo de la Prensa will invite other print media , radio and tv statations to run either the ad campaign and/or a 40 sec. advertisement produced for radio, and will distribute information on activities world wide.

We will also produce press releases on our activities related to the implementation and monitoring of the Transparency and Access to Information Law, for distribution at the national level.
