Organizer: Romanian Helsinki Committee; Media Monitoring Agency; Centre for Independent Journalism Event: Beer party and debate; FOI awards Date: September 28, 2005 Location: Club A Donor: Open Society Justice Initiative Description: This evening, Romanian Helsinki Committee, together with Media Monitoring Agency and Centre for Independent Journalism, will organized a beer party and debate with the participation of the media, NGO representatives and public administration representatives, for celebrating the Right to Know Day. The topic of the debate will cover confidentiality clauses in contracts between administration and private companies. During the same event, one journalist and one student in journalism will be awarded for using FOIA in their work. This event is part of the ongoing FOIA project run by the Romanian Helsinki Committee, with the financial help of Open Society Justice Initiative. |
